Traveling! I fancy myself a seeker, explorer and adventurer. Kyoto, Japan and Cinque Terre, Italy are two of my favorites. Norway and Greece are up next!
I’ve appeared on the television show Eat Street on the Food Network, and competed on Donut Showdown on the Cooking Channel on behalf of my former business, Sugar Lips Mini Donuts.
The pop of a champagne cork, slide of a guitar string, squeak of shoes on a basketball court, tapping of vintage typewriter keys, and sweet puppy snores.
Anything Wes Anderson (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Darjeeling Limited). Beyond the brilliant comedy, the highly stylized cinematography is intoxicating. The vibrant storybook style and strict color palette of each film is genius. I would happily live within a Wes Anderson film.
Refurbishing furniture. I adore finding lost objects transforming them into useful and beautiful pieces. Gold spray paint is my religion.
Becoming a mom. Getting to see the world anew through my daughters eyes is both inspiring and humbling.
